Medical Appeals Board – Disabled Child

You may appeal the doctor’s decision. The appeal must be sent to your NII local branch in writing and with an explanation within, 60 days from the date on which you received written notice of the decision.

Composition of the Board:

• A specialist doctor. Two doctors will be present for Boards discussing an appeal for a child with a special disability or a child requiring special medical care;
• A nurse;
• A specialist psychologist, physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech therapist.
